Trudeau would rather import 130,000 barrels of overseas oil a day, from places like Saudi Arabia, than make more energy here in Canada. Conservatives will support clean, ethical energy right here at home and stop importing oil from overseas within 5 years!

@FoodProfessor @dfc_plc That's a sly cut but the damage is done, to both sides. Just read a CTV article with the same innuendo. Nobody wins. So sad. No system works without trust.

@HorsebackWriter @dfc_plc This is not a controversy nor a scandal. It's a symptom of a much bigger problem. While farmers care about Canadians, dairy boards just don't. Responsive systems can't work with no transparency.

@FoodProfessor @dfc_plc There are issues and then there are controversies. Butter hardness and choice of allowable feedstuffs are issues, easily addressed by a responsive system that does exist. Controversies are generated by off-hand, irrelevant comments that undermine trust in all.

@HorsebackWriter Dairy has a problem. It's a missed opportunity for @dfc_plc to understand what Canadians are experiencing. Denial no longer works with social media. Consumers now have too much power.

And there you have it folks - it’s not about which countries use palm oil, or the food chemistry of additives, or animal welfare, or the processing techniques that have been employed pre AND post August 2020 - it’s just a quest to tear down dairy politics!
