@AskNationwide I am going to India for holiday and plan to use Nationwide credit card there. How do I inform Nationwide that I will use the card abroad so that it doesn't get blocked.
@Ruuuhdaar@MsRiyaMukherjee So do we! I have stopped Gaana membership, listen to a local radio now but the quality of one hour of Riya's Retro can't be compared to 12hrs of any other radio.
@MsRiyaMukherjee@b_montz Honestly, Riya - that was a very unfair treatment by Gaana. They behaved like thugs - big frauds, stole everything! I am not going to buy a membership for an App based in India. It was such a bad experience 😒.
@b_montz Hi. #RiyasRetro was discontinued in Aug 2022 and the old catalogue taken down in October 2022. Some internal issues at Gaana. I’ve not moved anywhere and I am also waiting for some miracle to get #RR back.
@MsRiyaMukherjee I've been trying to find Riyas Retro episodes but have had no luck. Have you moved to another platform from gaana?
Is there a way to download or access the episodes somewhere else?
Really miss listening to it.
@diyayayya I agree with you. I did the same 28yrs ago when I was asked not to enter the pooja area in the house during my period - I was shocked and angry. I never entered their pooja area ever again.
I bought a knee length dress and the husband told me that I need to look and behave like a woman of 38,mom of 2 kids. So I told him he needs to wear dhoti kurta from today. No more tshirt/shorts. He has look his age n a dad of 2 kids. If I cant show my legs he cant too. Period.
That's a complex question.
1) When you don't know someone, the only thing you have to go on, is how they look/dress. This may spark an initial interest depending on your specific preferences i.e. superficial attraction.
2) Once you know someone's personality (regardless of how they look/dress), there would be a concrete attraction or not, again depending on your preferences.
You will fast lose interest in someone you initially thought was a "beautiful" person, who has a poor personality, and the reverse is also true.
I had a crush on this girl when I was in 10th standard and I have seen her today, brooooooooooo she is still the prettiest, she is still the cutest, she is still the cutest. I love her😭
What we need is more women in the sciences and more men in humanities to even out the imbalance and build a better, compassionate and humanitarian world.
Give your daughters chemistry sets, give your sons poetry books!
It’s humbling to realise that my hard work has finally paid off. My data are going into AACR conference poster, the largest cancer research conference. And the scientific story is exactly the way I had imagined. It’s my first. Time to make the poster. 😊 @AACR
@payeldas1011@iitmadras@IITMResAff I think it's a very good idea. Even though all our woking life communication relies on emails, there are times when people sound rude and unprofessional even though they wouldn't like their email to be read that way. I think some ideas on how to write is great!
So this is going to happen on April Fool’s Day (seriously, not a prank). Got an invite to share some tips on writing emails to professors for a PhD position with @iitmadras folks. My first personal public speaking event! 🥹
Thank you, @IITMResAff
@pratsd For me liberation is - a day off from work, big and young kids at work and school respectively - me on my own at home, doing what I want to do (probably NOTHING). That feeling is so therapeutic 😅
The way more and more women talk fondly about how leaving their homes for work/education made them feel liberated, and how so many men talk only about being homesick after leaving home, is all that you want to know about the difference in the lives men and women live.
@FilmHistoryPic Amazing and no nonsense News Anchor. Today when you have over 50 news channel you sorely miss the good old days of 80s and 90s when news was treated as news and not sensation. Thanks @DDNewsHindi 😊 🫂
@Sweety52216366@Hopayega09 Once I read a survey where it said that India was one of the countries where majority of foreign tourists didn't want to visit again. Not surprised why!
