My goodness, the amount of terrible medical advise on the internet these days is just astounding. Of course excessive water can be bad, but the amount needed to get to the levels of hyponatremia etc is gargantuan. The average water drinker would most likely not get to those levels. When you drink more than your body needs, mechanisms kick in (aquaporins, hypothalamic ADH release etc) to restore balance by diluting the urine. This doesn’t mean you’re overworking your kidneys.

@NoFilterSkin I think same question should apply to those who want to marry and have kids. As a human being, what is your end plan.

Ladies who don’t want to get married and don’t want to have kids : Respectfully, what is your end plan ? Where do you see yourself as those days near? Are you in a nursing home, assisted living? Are you going to have a nurse come to your house ? Live with sibling , nieces or nephews ? Are you going to be jet setting across the world? Honestly, I really just want to know.

@Nigerian_Doctor So a nurse joining Ward round means carrying a tray for a doctor? How many doctors have carried a tray for nurses? It's actually drs that think about other HCWs just to prove a point. Like some Nigerian drs like APC supporters.

Being a Doctor in Nigeria will make you miss out of life, you won't have time to explore/enjoy the good things in life. I regret coming to this profession. No free to rest, it's always from one thing to the other.

@titus_adzenda Yes, because you’re in Nigeria-the country! There are available jobs when you graduate. Pay isnot great at all but when you look around there’s something to be grateful for.
