If you’ve been thinking about vaults as a DeFi-native product, think again. 🔹 Tradfi: allocate to a strategy, get proportional exposure, manager executes. 🔸 Defi: allocation + ownership + constraints enforced onchain. @grvt_io is pushing that model directly into the exchange account. You allocate from your existing balance, verified managers trade the strategy, and they cannot withdraw the funds or move them off-protocol. That leaves two possible futures: 🔹 Vaults remain a passive side product. 🔸 Or vaults become the default account layer, where the same capital can move between direct trading and managed strategies. In that second world, exchanges compete on who owns more of the capital lifecycle, not just who offers better fees or deeper liquidity.
