Next Thursday, Denver 7 @DenverChannel will host a Republican gubernatorial debate but, as usual, Victor Marx will not show up. Very frustrating. I don't know if he's afraid to show that he's not up to speed on the issues or if he thinks he's so far in the lead that he doesn't need to take the risk of a bad debate moment. But for a guy who is leading the GOP fundraising in the gov race (and probably really doing so even if his reported contributions are significantly false, which may be the case given the irregularities in the filings), to consistently refuse to debate is unacceptable. He's supposed to show up at the Colorado Christian debate near the end of the month. If I were a betting man, I'd bet that he finds a reason to drop out of that one too. I think the refusal to debate is disqualifying. #copolitics @cologop

Ds margins are increasing year over year in liberal CO. So how do we prove that VM getting crushed in the general isn't just an R vs D in CO thing vs a VM thing?

Marx is the only one that can rally the non-liberal controlled metro areas. This assumes some giant skeleton doesn't jump out of his closet.

Just food for thought, if Victor is a legitimate front runner by a large margin, he could theoretically be benefiting his adversaries by showing up to talk to them. In which case, if it were his goal to win, it might serve him better not to go. Incidentally, I’d like to hear how he handles comprehensive discussions about a great many issues.
