Even elementary. We must put a stop to this. There are several high profile court cases pending due to infringements on parental rights. Let’s give a breakdown of just a two of them. There are more. 1. A couple sued the State of Colorado and the Brighton School District claiming school staff encouraged their daughter’s gender transition without parental knowledge or consent. 2. A group of parents asked the 10th Circuit Court to reinstate their lawsuit against Poudre School District. This suit hinges on the Gender and Sexualities Alliance Club that advised students not to inform their parents about gender identity issues or the purpose of the club. There are multiple Title IX violation investigations pending throughout the state as many districts refuse to maintain the sex based protections for their students per Federal law. What’s the solution? PARENTS NEED TO STEP UP. We need fighters running for the school board. We need big voices showing up at school board meetings to put pressure on the administrations. We need coordinated efforts to kick out incompetent and failed superintendents like Tracy Dorland of Jefferson County. Our kids deserve better and it’s our responsibility to ensure they are protected.
