"EQRLF operates the Barruecopardo/Saloro mine in Salamanca Province, Spain — the largest tungsten mine in Europe — and Mt Carbine in Queensland, Australia. The EU stockpile targets tungsten first and is actively negotiating Rotterdam storage. Barruecopardo is already cash-positive in Spain and producing at record tungsten prices (~$900/mtu). The critical point: the EU will need to source from non-Chinese suppliers to build this stockpile. EQRLF's Spanish operation sits inside the EU, which makes it the most geographically and politically advantaged supplier for direct EU procurement. This isn't a "rides the tailwind" story — this could be a direct offtake/government contract story for their Spanish asset. That's a potential re-rating event, not just sentiment lift."
