it is often helpful to clock when things become cyclical or circular, or where meaning loops back around on itself in productive ways. there are lots of names for this with different specificities. epanalepsis. chiasmus. i feel myself inside a really significant and exciting loop right now.

Agree with much of this, and relate to the question of the college fund. AI will expose the cracks in the stories we tell ourselves about education. For most an undergraduate degree is an expensive, mandatory obligation uncorrelated with anything you actually learn. This qualification inflation has gotten so out of control that in many cases pursuing research direct to the internet has become a stronger signal than a degree. Elite educational environments will persist as status clubs and dating circles, and havens for genuine freaks who ought to be given rooms to think amongst themselves. The problem was funneling everyone into getting a degree they likely don't need, and I welcome AI in exposing that, and hopefully making universal access to specialist knowledge effortless.
