This afternoon, my mom, our beloved Rupa (Ba to many) passed away at home with family. Her long battle w/ Parkinson's & recently COVID-19 is over. She was a legendary trailblazer who owned the 1st Indian grocery store in Houston, significantly impacting the Indian community.

This morning, Mahesh Prataprai Vyas, my beloved father lost his brief battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. A devoted father, grandfather, uncle, brother, husband and friend. My mentor, #1 supporter and my rock. The light that emanates from this world just became dimmer.
