These guidelines are just for the general population. In the end, everyone has different risks for breast cancer and that will probably determine the best screening strategy FOR YOU. Get a personal risk assessment. Get your genome sequenced if you can. And then talk to your doc.

@AllisonRFloyd So, this is an important post. From a doctor’s perspective: Patient Experience/Outcome depends on Pharmacogenetics x (Active Ingredient + Other Ingredients). Pharmacogenetics is an emerging area that is not regularly accounted for in clinical trials… yet.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: any pharmacy worker or medical provider who tells you there is no difference between generic brand drugs and name brand drugs or differences between genetics is wrong and LYING. It’s not their health and lives being affected, it’s yours.
