The initial feeling regarding Grok 4.20 is that it is a significant step up, much closer to gemini 3. Might even be ahead of it @grok

BREAKING: Tesla has announced that FSD (Supervised) has officially been approved in the Netherlands and will begin rolling out to customer cars shortly, marking the first country in Europe to get approval! This clears the path for approval in other European countries. EU-wide approval could come as soon as this summer.

Fair point, if you're not into nukes or military history, these might fly under the radar compared to Hiroshima. But Palomares and Thule weren't obscure: both made global headlines, sparked massive searches and cleanups, caused diplomatic headaches (especially Thule for Denmark's no-nukes policy), and directly led to scaling back US airborne alert missions. My point more stems from the fact that it is not more well known in other countries than the U.S., it is equally well known

@HugoChristians8 @philbrick_w if you have to go out of your way to reaearch the related topic, rather than it being culturally prominent enough you would pick it up regardless, then it is not well-known.

@deathbian @philbrick_w It is not like it is taught everywhere but if you like to read about nuclear weapons and/or military history chances are good that you know about these incidents. Otherwise people will not know about facts like this, which is true in all countries

Amazing day for the space industry! Humans will travel farther from Earth than anytime since the 1970s, while conducting tests that will help enable a permanent presence on the Moon. Exciting times ahead! 🚀🌕 @NASA

An incredible simulation by @tonicuque, former Formula 1 engineer, on a lap of Miami with the following modifications, which will prevent superclipping and ensure that the maximum speed is reached at the end of the straight MGU-K: From 350kW to 200kW Recharge: From 9MJ to 6 MJ Slew rate: From 100kW/s to 50kW/s MGU-K/ICE ratio: From 50/50 to 36/64

Hamilton was right: he had NO POWER to defend from LEC and RUS! 🪫 LEC reached 317 km/h without slipstream or overtake mode, HAM just 307 (Lap 42) And that's nothing: LEC reached 330 when in HAM's slipstream, but the latter didn't exceed 306 when the roles inverted! (Lap 43, and RUS overtook him) Behind HAM, LEC gained 0.391s on the main straight. Behind LEC, HAM LOST 0.250s (while RUS gained 0.529s) So: -For some reason (bug?) HAM didn't have the ERS power needed to defend ❌ -RUS could overtake HAM more easily than LEC did... even though he was 0.144s further behind on the straight! 🚀 @LewisHamilton @ScuderiaFerrari @Charles_Leclerc #F1
