Post about Irish politics and occasionally St. Patrick's Athletic

Statement

My thoughts and prayers go to the family and loved ones of Charlie Kirk after his horrific murder in Utah. We think especially of his wife and young children today. There is no place for the gun in politics, no justification for violence in democratic debate.

Farewell to Suleiman al-Obeid, the 'Palestinian Pelé'. A talent who gave hope to countless children, even in the darkest of times.

I’m no longer a member of @SocDems following the reinstatement of Deputy Eoin Hayes. After being elected to the National Executive in 2024, and being active within the Party this was a difficult decision but undoubtedly the right one. Saoirse don Phalaistín 🇵🇸

'... in 2020, Ms McLoughlin began working remotely and moved back in with her parents in Galway. This allowed her to save money she had been spending on rent' Every single time Just move in with parents from 27 to 32....because no one can do it on wages alone anymore Damning

i hate when people say “oh what do they even talk about” in regards to dating. you can literally talk about what you cooked for dinner or changing cat litter if youre into someone

@LorraineHallFG @robggill @KNEECAPCEOL But most people are too lazy to learn about history and accept the toxicity pedalled by likes of Kneecap as legitimate. The glorification of IRA sectarian murders and ethnic cleansing of protestants, as freedom frighting, isnt my undersatnding of history!

For many in the North the memory that haunts them most is British soldiers carrying out killings such as Bloody Sunday and Ballymurphy massacre with impunity and the BBC upholding the British ethos and covering up their crimes
