At the tangent of Gandhi Maidan in Patna begins the historic Ashok Rajpath. Barely 500 meters away, the waters of the Ganga touch the boundary walls of Patna University. Along this stretch stands a chain of colleges that once formed one of India’s greatest educational corridors. Beginning with Bihar National College (B.N. College) and extending all the way to NIT Patna, it was a hub of quality education. There was a time when this belt produced some of the finest professors, scholars, administrators and thinkers in the country. In the middle of it stands the majestic Patna University building, still carrying the weight of history, even as time and neglect have worn it down. On one side of Patna College flows the Ganga, and on the other side runs Annie Besant Road, crowded with student lodges, tea stalls, libraries and coaching centres. Within this small geography live thousands of dreams. Students from every corner of Bihar come here to prepare for Bank PO exams, IIT-JEE, engineering entrances, UPSC and countless other competitive exams. What makes this place emotional is not just education, but the absence of opportunity outside it. Like Kota, this stretch witnesses ambition, heartbreak, success, failure, loneliness, friendship, hope and despair every single day. In the mornings and evenings, swarms of students move through these roads carrying bags full of books and minds full of uncertainty. Outside Patna College lies a large ground where many quietly sit for hours, contemplating their future and the burden of expectations they carry. Bihar has produced extraordinary minds and remarkable individuals, yet today the state struggles to keep pace. Education is in not in great shape, industries are limited, businesses are not thriving at the scale they should, and opportunities remain scarce. Because of this, generation after generation of talent leaves Bihar and settles elsewhere. Students here often have to struggle for things that many in other states take for granted. Perhaps that is why Biharis constantly remind themselves of their legacy. Probably as a way to keep their spirit alive whenever someone questions their worth. On this Annie Besant road, you can hear students saying... “Jaante ho ji, sabse zyada IAS Bihar se nikalta hai…” “IIT mein bahut log Bihar se jaate hain…” “Vashishtha Narayan Singh Bihar ke the…” “Rajendra Prasad Bihar ke the…” However, that list had very few sportsmen. Now, with pride in their voice, people will add another line: “Jaante ho ji… Vaibhav Suryavanshi hamare Bihar ka hai.”

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is pleased to announce the introduction of a scheme for induction into the Technical Branch (Officers Cadre), allowing eligible candidates to apply based on their Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores. Under this new initiative, candidates possessing a valid GATE score will be eligible for direct shortlisting for testing at the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs). Selection will be based on merit, effectively exempting these candidates from the preliminary written examination, such as the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). The GATE Score scheme will be applicable exclusively for induction into the Technical Branch. The AFCAT will continue to serve as the standard admission test for induction into all branches of the IAF, including the Technical Branch. Read here: pib.gov.in/PressReleasePa… @IAF_MCC

Na, it is not a brilliant job but indisciplined job. He or other students never raised a complaint by email or if they did, have not waited for the authorities to respond. Instead like a typical SM enthusiast knowing how SM narratives work, made a big issue which could have been solved without this fuss. Also observe blue check mark now, where as the family told they are under depression due to SM criticism but now giving blue check mark. Not good job but indisciplined and rogue way to get job done.

Faith in the process restored! This is a fantastic resolution. Brilliant job by Vedant for speaking up and trusting his preparation, and an equally commendable effort by CBSE for addressing the issue promptly and transparently to correct the results. When students and institutions work together like this, the system wins.

She's telling girls to hide their past from their husbands. Check her profile - Powerful like Durga. Enchanting like Lakshmi. Comparing herself to goddesses and advising girls to hide their past. Why do they want to marry a guy who has a problem with their past? Why hide it?

Until and unless a few Generals and Air Marshals are publicly court-martialed, along with the termination of incompetent babus, things won’t change easily in procurement. The services will keep making unrealistic ASQRs, and the babus will keep making bullshit policies.

Because reservation for SC/STs is based on their caste, not the profession or income of parents. Also why do GC activists care so deeply about this topic? The quota will remain the same irrespective of who gets it. Let the reserved sections debate it out.
Indian Tech & Infra@IndianTechGuide

🚨 “If both parents are IAS officers, why should their children get reservations? The parents are educated, hold good jobs, and earn well, and yet their children still seek reservation benefits. They should move out of the reservation system.” - Supreme Court of India.

Defence journalism in India is a joke. Many "journalists" write paid hit pieces against indigenous companies for access, ads & foreign OEM money. They attack Indigenous firms but go silent on imports. Not journalists, just 2 penny dalaals who are selling themselves.

The Faustian gap between the West and Indians is widening every year. While we celebrate the Delhi-Dehradun expressway cutting travel time to "2.5 hours" (3.5 in practice) and our Vande Bharats being "160 kmph trains" (averaging around 90 in reality), these gora franks have filed an IPO laying out plans to deliver: New York to Sydney in 30 minutes on a rocket, orbital AI data centres, and even Mars colonisation. While the West's civilisational goal has shifted to colonizing the solar system, and perhaps the stars beyond, Bishwaguru leaders' most ambitious civilisational project has remained "PoK wapas lenge" since 1947, recited daily by uncles on family whatsapp groups.

JUST IN: SpaceX’s IPO filing says Starship could enable point-to-point travel anywhere on Earth in about 30 minutes or less.
