Companies rarely lack good ideas. What most companies that I see really lack, is the willingness to *explore* truly new ideas and experiment.

Entrepreneurship is not as glamorous as people think. The main competency: humiliate oneself every day trying to do something nobody thinks can be done… UNTIL you prove everybody wrong!

Internal teams need three things to excel. They need the capability to do great work, they need the opportunity to do great work, and they need the motivation to do great work. Most traditional companies barely focus on the first of these, let alone the other two.
