The data has been collected from members of the bar across the country who volunteered information. The chart is not complete. It may also contain certain inaccuracies. However, for all practical purpose the chart does paint a complete picture of the nepotism and favoritism in the appointment of judges and the designation of lawyers as senior advocates. The data above would undoubtedly show that there can hardly be a case where the judges of the Supreme Court/High Courts who has not used office to anoint their sons/daughters/nephews or other near relatives or juniors as a Senior Advocate or as a Judge. The chart is a near progeny list which is in great contrast with the scenario in the rest of the world. In England, a father and a son, or a grandson being elevated to the bench is a rare scenario. Here, it is the norm. This great aberration needs to remedied and the surest and simplest means is to do away with the unjust and wholly discriminatory system of designation of lawyers. There shall not be two classes of lawyers, but only one class where all lawyers are treated equally, and with dignity and respect. I once again appeal to one and all to contribute whatever information you have to make this chart as accurate and complete as possible. बिहार में अधिकृत तौर पर सरकार अपराधियों की सहयोगी बन चुकी है। सरकार ने ब्लैकआउट किया और पटना में इस ब्लैकआउट को सुनहरे अवसर में परिवर्तित करते हुए अपराधियों ने एक व्यापारी को गोली मार दी। ब्लैकआउट के पाँच मिनट बाद हुए इस अपराधिक कृत्य से कई गंभीर सवाल खड़े होते हैं। ब्लैकआउट के अंधेरे का लाभ उठाते हुए अपराधी भाग गए और व्यापारी की अस्पताल में मौत हो गई। सवाल ये खड़ा होता है कि जिस सरकार को अपराध रोकने और अपराधियों को पकड़ने के लिए चुना गया था, वो सरकार अपराधियों की सहयोगी कैसे बन गई? ब्लैकआउट को कैसे अपराधियों ने साजिश रचने और हत्या करने के अवसर के रूप में चुना और कैसे वो सफलतापूर्वक हत्या की वारदात को अंजाम दे पाये। इसकी उच्चस्तरीय जांच हो, सरकार की इस चूक की समीक्षा हो और ये भी सुनिश्चित किया जाये कि अपराधियों और सरकार में बैठे लोगों की कोई साँठ-गाँठ या साजिश तो नहीं।
