How dare you. I grew up in Telford and was sexually abused for over a decade under a Labour council. Countless little girls like me were failed by Labour politicians like you. If you want to know how Labour REALLY treats abuse survivors, here’s my story: As many other girls in Telford have also testified, I was made to feel as though I was to blame. The system criminalised the victims, rather than going after the perpetrators. I remember being asked by a detective whether I “consented” at any point to sexual activity, and told by a social worker that “my actions had led me to where I was today”. All the while, the Labour-led council tried to block an independent inquiry into CSE for years and their Council Leader (now the MP for Telford), along with 10 other powerful local men, even wrote a letter to the Home Secretary saying they felt an inquiry would unnecessary. Little girls in Telford were branded child prostitutes and p*ki shaggers… …by West Mercia Police and local Labour councillors, no less. In Rotherham, Rochdale, Banbury and elsewhere — all Labour-led areas — victims were continually swept aside by those in positions of power, as if they chose this lifestyle. The attitudes that social workers, local services, authorities had towards children was so skewed, and so deeply unprofessional. My abuse continued for years, at the hands of multiple different men throughout my childhood and teen years. Eventually, I confided in a social worker and filed a police report detailing the years of abuse that I had experienced. And my case, like 96.5 per cent of all sex crime cases in the UK, never resulted in prosecution. I was told that there was an unrealistic prospect of conviction against any of my abusers, due to the historic nature of my case. I spent years in silence because I thought I would somehow be judged or penalised for the abuse I had suffered. Because I had been conditioned to feel like I was somehow responsible for my own victimisation. The Telford scandal made headlines when it broke in 2015, then again when the Crowther Report was released in 2022. Yet, the news cycle moved on. And Labour tried their best to ignore it. You voted against a national enquiry into CSE. You gutted the local enquires model. You promoted key figures in the scandal to MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT. You called victims “far-Right bandwagon jumpers” and grooming gangs a “dog whistle.” You failed. Deliberately. On every level. These are not crimes of the past. Kids are still being exploited, groomed, raped and even murdered in Labour-led areas like mine. It isn’t enough to have empty words and hollow promises. I even went on national TV to discuss Pakistani grooming gangs in Telford and the continued risk of abuse faced by little girls in my hometown. The next day, officers banged on my door, demanding I speak to them about my interview. They ignored victims for decades, but tried to intimidate me for speaking about their failings on live TV. CSE is a national epidemic. But Labour continues to treat it like a localised issue, choosing to believe that the extent of the abuse is contained to a few bad towns and pockets of bad apples. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Politicians like you, Bridget, refuse to address that fact for fear of being forced to confront your decades-long failure to protect young girls from abuse. It’s easier to ignore victims, especially when they come from communities, social classes or demographics that are already disenfranchised in Britain. And for those who do speak out, it feels like you are screaming at a brick wall that would rather label you as the problem than take you seriously. It was Labour councils. Labour politicians. Labour police forces. Labour MPs. You all knew. You were all complicit. How DARE you pretend to care about us now. You are a disgrace, Bridget.

Rupert Lowe is no supporter of women. His track record speaks for itself. Only Labour will tackle violence against women and girls.

The fact that Rupert Lowe has explicitly said he will name officials of the state that covered up grooming gangs puts a massive target on his back He is doing what every single other MP has refused to do For that alone, he has shown he should be Prime Minister

Rape Gang Inquiry update. Our team is currently going through our draft report to ensure that all is legally sound for publication. The plan is straightforward. I intend to use parliamentary privilege in the chamber to name a number of the worst perpetrators/officials who we believe have escaped justice. We will then use private prosecutions to pursue those individuals through the courts, and eventually put them in prison. These are incredibly dangerous scumbags. It is an national network of organised crime - it is not simply disparate gangs. This is a comprehensive criminal network that is capable of the most evil acts. I will be informing the police, parliamentary security and the Home Office beforehand of who I intend to name and why - I also now have private security for the first time in my life. But do not underestimate the danger of these networks. It is organised crime of the very worst kind. We started this inquiry not to just talk, but to act. The report will be published after the elections as I want this to be a cross-party effort, and party politics should not interfere with any of our activity. Numerous Conservative MPs have been supportive, as have the Northern Irish and even a Labour MP attending the hearings. I want this to go beyond petty party politics. We still have a significant amount of money from the crowdfunder, and that is ready to privately prosecute. This is where we are. This is the plan. Thank you to everybody for your support.

Keir Starmer said to @SarahForRuncorn in PMQs that "I spent many years prosecuting paedophiles". What he didn't tell you, I kid you not, is he passed sentencing guidelines that allow paedos to *walk free*. There is something VERY wrong with Keir Starmer. The man is vile.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! President Trump posted this MIC DROP from an Iranian woman who destroyed the leftists "You're sitting there on your cushy couch talking about Kamala Harris. You claim to be a FEMINIST, you claim to be a humanitarian. Where ARE YOU when the women need you? You are a fake, you are a hypocrite, you have no help to anyone!" "So if you claim to be a feminist, you claim to be a humanitarian, you claim to be a good person!" "America, Iran isn't just a military war or peace in the Middle East or oil stabilization. This is a humanitarian issue. They are killing young people every single day. And the only president, the only one that has helped is President Trump!" 🔥🔥🇺🇸🇮🇷

I want to talk about the scale of what’s coming for the UK over the next three months. Because I don’t think many people have joined the dots yet. The Strait of Hormuz has been effectively closed for over five weeks. Before this war, 135 ships passed through it every day. Now it’s 5 to 7. Over 600 vessels are still stranded. Iran has mined the strait, is charging tolls, and controlling who passes. The CEO of Abu Dhabi’s national oil company said it this week: “The Strait of Hormuz is not open. Access is being restricted, conditioned and controlled. That is coercion.” Two thirds of Gulf crude has no alternative route. 14 million barrels a day behind a 21-mile chokepoint. Energy bills are forecast to jump 20% in July. From £1,641 to nearly £2,000. The second major energy shock in four years. Petrol up over 15%. Diesel up nearly 30%. Wholesale gas rose 75% in under four weeks. Food inflation could hit 8% by June and 9% by December. Academics advising DEFRA say it could reach 12%. UK food prices are already 38% higher than before Covid. We’re only 62% self-sufficient in food. We import 60% of our nitrogen fertiliser. Red diesel for farming has surged 60%. Average arable farm income has fallen to £17,000, the lowest in over 20 years. Yesterday, China announced it’s halting all sulphuric acid exports from May. Sulphuric acid is essential for phosphate fertilisers, copper mining, oil refining, and battery manufacturing. A third of the world’s sulphur was already blocked by the Hormuz closure. Now the world’s largest exporter has pulled the other lever at the same time. The fertiliser crisis just got significantly worse, heading straight into planting season. Before the war, markets expected rate cuts. Now they’ve priced in two rate rises. Over 1,500 mortgage products have been pulled. Two year fixes have jumped from 4.8% to 5.5%. Nearly £1,000 a year extra on a £200k mortgage. Gone in weeks. Flights are next. A quarter of UK jet fuel comes from Kuwait, behind the strait. In early April, major carriers said they had five to six weeks of reserves. That clock is running. Ryanair’s CEO has warned 5-10% of summer flights could be cancelled. Iran’s strike on Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG complex, which handles 30% of the world’s helium, is estimated to take 3 to 5 years to repair. Helium is critical for semiconductors and MRI machines. That’s not a disruption. That’s structural damage. Chemical and steel manufacturers are imposing surcharges of up to 30%. Analysts are warning of permanent deindustrialisation. European gas storage was at just 30% after a harsh winter. If the strait stays restricted through summer, Europe can’t refill for next winter. In Ireland, fuel protests shut down Dublin for four days. The army was deployed. Over 100 fuel stations ran dry, with warnings of 500 by end of the week. Downing Street has held talks on the potential for mass protests here. The OECD has downgraded the UK more than any other G7 nation. Growth slashed from 1.2% to 0.7%. Inflation forecast nearly doubled to 4%, with some saying it could breach 5%. Starmer and Trump spoke this week about military options to reopen the strait. The UK is leading a 30+ nation coalition. But the ceasefire is already fracturing. Iran re-closed the strait over Israeli strikes on Lebanon. Reeves is boxed in by fiscal rules. Higher gilt yields are eating her headroom. And I haven’t heard a credible plan from anyone in Westminster. Energy. Food. Fertiliser. Aviation fuel. Mortgages. Industrial chemicals. Semiconductors. Shipping. Government borrowing. Political stability. All under stress. All compounding. This country imports 44% of its energy. Has almost no gas storage. Imports most of its food and fertiliser. Gets a quarter of its jet fuel from behind a mined strait. Every structural weakness built up over 20 years is being stress tested at once. The next three months aren’t going to be uncomfortable. They’re going to be defining

One wrong move by government here, and you will see, at the very least, 250k Irish people descend on the capital in a blink. They must step down, there is no other way. I cannot see another way. We have already heard the warning of using the army against its own people. We have heard the threat that they will come for the protestors after the protest ends. We have then seen the attempted character assassinations on the protest leaders. None of this has worked an iota as every single person in this country, outside of the political paywall and even within, is wide awake to it. These threats, as well as being pitiful, are now futile. Where else do they think they are going here? Government, you have no more moves. You’re going nowhere but out I am afraid. It is check mate. The gig is up. I don’t condone it, I don’t call for it, just calling it as I see it. Sláinte 🥃⚔️
