Quarterbacks have to watch so much film that they know the answers before the snap. That’s the difference. Everybody loves the throw.
Nobody talks about the hours. A real QB doesn’t just line up and hope.
He already knows: •the front •the coverage •the pressure •the leverage •the protection •the answer If you’re figuring it out after the snap, you’re already beat. Anybody can throw it.
Very few can process it.

@CoachReamon @CoachJones256 QB/DE here Coach! I love playing both ways. There are some games my D play helps me get into good QB rhythm. And sometimes success on O gets my D side confidence and rhythm! I do Special teams too. Love being on both sides! One hand helps the other.

Growing up, everybody played both ways. Now it’s “I only play LB”… what? I get QB becoming specialized, but most high school players shouldn’t be limiting themselves. Playing both sides builds IQ, development, and gets you on the field more. Early on, coaches want football players not position-only guys… or maybe that’s just me.
