@trikcode Sometimes I make a mess first and clean it up afterwards. Depends on how well I understand the problem to begin with.

Dear Microsoft, when I hit the Windows Start menu key and start typing a word to autocomplete a search, I never, ever, EVER want it to return results of something not on my computer. Ever. Like, ever, ever, never.

@suntzo_2 @Cernovich Medicare is much cheaper than Obama care. $500 per month. Compared to $200 this year (was about $165 last year). That's for part B. You can spend more on other plans, but that's the main one.

@Cernovich And what a surprise when you find out that Medicare premium at age 65 is not much cheaper than than the ACA… wealth confiscation and wealth transfer will not satiate the neo-Bolsheviks

@DevLeaderCa I used to work with a guyear who commented every line and then some. It made the code unreadable and the comments didn’t help at all.

Depends which weapon. Epee is close to that, bit there is defense. Both foil and saber have rules about removing the threat via a parry, which changes the game to support a more realistic defensive game. (With sharp weapons you would be more careful about attacking onto someone else's attack)

I was skeptical, but now I’m completely convinced. Fencing will become super popular due to this one very particular improvement to the sport. “Sword tip visualization” It’s going to debut at the summer olympics. Every single duel will look like a bloody lightsaber fight

Do the people in the 15 cars backed up at the Starbucks drive-thru not realize that if they park and walk in, there's no line at the counter, or do they just dislike getting out of their car that much.

@KenDBerryMD @chrismartenson I bet you can still read Howard Ruff's 1979 book "How to Prosper During the Coming Bad Years ". I read it in the early 80s when he was concerned about the real US debt bring 4 trillion dollars. I still think most of it still applies.

False Hypertension is very common because Doctor's office checks blood pressure wrong! [ Link in comments ] Millions "suffer" from Iatrogenic Hypertension because improper technique leads to false BP elevations; this has probably happened to you.

NY Gov. Kathy Hochul is stunned by fresh IRS data. It’s not just billionaires fleeing. Between 2020-2024, 892 companies left New York — taking $47 BILLION in income with them. Florida grabbed 341. Texas took 187. North Carolina: 129. Middle-class pros, small biz owners & families are voting with their feet — escaping sky-high taxes, regs, and declining quality of life. Result? Shrinking tax base. Those left behind pay more. Hochul once sneered: “Just get on a bus.” Now the exodus is accelerating — killing jobs, services & the economy. Actions have consequences. #NewYorkExodus #TaxFlight
