MOC (Market on Close) imbalances show net buy vs sell orders for the closing auction only. Today’s red day (S&P closed down ~0.35% at 7,083) came from intraday selling pressure. But big institutions, ETFs, and rebalancing programs often flood the close with buy orders, creating this +1.37B S&P buy imbalance. It props up the final price even when the session was down overall. Common dynamic.

$SPY if I were market makers, given now that everyone wants to short. I will spend next few days chopping up. Down 30 handles, up 35 handles, down another 40 handles and up 25 handles, crush VIX. While trap everyone. Please do not go heavy short and greedy for like 100 handles short profit. They can lift spy to 690 or even ATH then retrace back to 676 just to mess up with the new sellers. The #SP500 is about to catch a lot of traders off guard. My 30 min signal line, based on historical data, is calling for a 1 day, 5 hour move down to 643. This isn’t guesswork. Wait wait wait wait. So Iran hasn't agreed to anything yet and this 2 week ceasefire is conditional to an immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, which one can assume means toll-free by the use of the word "complete". Ok soooooo this bascially just bought an excuse, because now if they don't reopen the Strait he can send in the ground invasion he was planning anyway but he can spin it as Iran did not agree to the conditions. I don't see why Iran would agree to it, they might, but logically and tactically I would be surprised if they did as it is their only piece of leverage here regarding this war. Let's see how the night progresses. Tomorrow may end up being a gap and trap if Iran doesn't agree to reopen the strait.
