Today, @MOTHI_ZIMBABWE Minister, Hon @BarbaraRwodzi represented by the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Hon. Tongai Mafidi Mnangagwa, officially launched the Hyatt Regency Hotel Conferencing and Event facilities in Harare. Speaking on behalf of Minister Rwodzi, the Deputy Minister praised this strategic investment for enhancing Zimbabwe’s conferencing and events infrastructure, which will positively impact the economy through Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE). He emphasized how this development aligns with Vision 2030 for Zimbabwe to be an Upper Middle-Income Society by 2030. Additionally, he encouraged Hyatt Regency to expand similar investments across the country while assuring the tourism sector of the Ministry’s unwavering support for such initiatives. The Deputy Minister commended the management and staff of Hyatt Regency for their dedication in bringing this project to completion, describing them as “frontline soldiers” who embody the essence of Experience Zimbabwe.
