i am proud of trump for having the balls to take down the jihadist regime in iran that has spent decades funding terror groups killing americans and allies while racing toward nuclear weapons. previous leaders talked big or cut deals that only made them bolder leading to more attacks and instability. trump is going with peace through strength hitting their terror network proxies and capabilities instead of more weakness that invites aggression. the regime has been decimated in key areas and he is keeping the pressure on while extending deadlines for them to reopen the strait of hormuz so oil can flow again. yes the short term pain at the pump is real with prices spiking and threats to supply chains but he has made clear it is temporary and expects a big drop once the conflict resolves and production resumes. the us has shale and domestic energy that gives us leverage others lack. taking out a long time sponsor of jihad that has american blood on its hands is the kind of decisive move history shows is needed to deter more trouble down the line. the trade off is tough but letting them keep building terror infrastructure and nuclear threats was costing us too in the long run. what do you think will be the biggest win if this wraps up quick.
