something i hate about most shonen romance anime nowadays is the girl always looks unique and stands out but the dude always just has short black hair and sometimes glasses. no other remarkable features. it PISSES me off like WHY







As a translator, the only time I think honorifics should be preserved is when the setting actually takes place within Japan. Re:Zero is a non-Japanese fantasy world, so I'd be more inclined to drop honorifics in lieu of things like "Mister" or "Lady" to better fit the setting.
