@MLGecko627 @mcquack306 Day 5: People interested in all the commotion around the game decided to try it for themselves. Narrative games still aren't for everyone though, so it didn't blow their socks off. They did find that it actually wasn't the worst thing ever though, as some on days 2-4 proclaimed.

Finished Mixtape…. Probably the most “meh” game I’ve played in a long time. Maybe it’s the “gameplay” that didn’t vibe with me right now but it was literally just ok. Nothing exceptional or amazing but nothing horrible. I don’t think this would’ve ever been on my radar. 7/10

@_rvnx @IndieGameJoe IIRC the track snapping is controlled by the player. Like manually controlling the mechanics that hrep you hovered above the track.

@IndieGameJoe What made WipEout so fun to play was the fact that the ships felt like they had weight to it and it took some skill to master each of them. This doesn't look nowhere as fun with how the ships just snap to the track.

"Surely there is nothing wrong with me, so it must be the reviewer that is at fault." They completely understand how to use media reviews. No one's at fault. They just have different tastes

I'm so glad I got to enjoy Mixtape before I opened twitter to see the usual crowd making noise about a game that is very clearly not their taste
