Carmen Electra and 11 other models sue N.H. adult entertainment club A dozen professional models, including Carmen Electra of “Baywatch” fame, are suing a gentleman’s club in New Hampshire for using their photographs without permission to promote the adult entertainment venue on social media. Their federal lawsuit, filed Friday in New Hampshire, alleges the Millennium Cabaret in Bedford, N.H., defamed them and falsely associated them with the business in violation of state and federal law. While models must be selective about the brands with which they choose to work, the defendant in this case used their images without permission or compensation to create an impression that they had “worked at, endorsed, or were otherwise associated” with the “strip club,” the complaint states. The lawsuit cites dozens of Facebook posts dating back to 2011, in which the business — which was then known as The Gold Club — used images of the models to promote the venue and upcoming events. The posts are more than a decade old, but were still accessible Friday on the club’s profile. The lawsuit cites alleged violations of the federal Lanham Act and state common law. Norway's Health Authority has finally restricted Saib Adnan Al-Qadi's duties after discovering a string of deaths and critical injuries documented in a report by the State Administrator, forcing them to label him “an ongoing risk to patient safety.” The report noted a lack of understanding of anatomy, deviant surgical techniques, and improper risk assessments. One patient suffered damage to his bile ducts during gallbladder surgery. Another died after damage to the small intestine. Yet another died after the surgeon operated without having properly read the patient’s medical record beforehand. For the woman who suffered having her colon connected to her vagina, the state administrator wrote that Al-Qadi chose to operate despite the high risk and seemed uncaring after his mistake.
