@mattforney The whole reason that Twitter, CBS and other israeli platforms pushed the "somali day care" story to the top, is because they discovered billions worth of gas reserves off the coast of somalia. This is no coincidence. As usual, its all about the Benjamins.

Hot take: maybe the Afghans who betrayed their own people for money as part of a losing cause will not be good for our country.

For all the talk on here about how bad immigrants are, I will say this: If you're the type of person who doesn't want to be constantly monitored by your neighbors, you might want to live around immigrants instead of white people. There's a libertarian streak to the areas where there are a lot of Mexicans, Bosnians, Thai, Vietnamese -- they're not pulling permits, they're not keeping up with the Joneses, and they do NOT care if you put up a clothesline. They often weren't tattle-taling on their neighbors during Covid either. Yes, things might be shabbier, might be more property crime, might have to keep things locked up. But if you can't stand the feeling of constantly being "watched," it could be a worthy price to pay. Often, depending on the group of immigrants we're talking about, the crime isn't even that bad, either. It really seems like 90% of American neighborhoods are one or the other. They're either real "tight," frigid, locked-down, heavy surveillance affairs for native-born whites -- or they're laissez-faire, rougher, loud music, yard parties, far more "free" places composed largely of immigrants. If I had to choose I know which one I'd pick. I guess at day's end I'm more "freedom-minded" than "race-minded."
