I’ve worked alongside the @IAFFofficial since my time in the Maryland Senate, and this week, I was honored to join them for their annual conference and deliver my gratitude for their partnership in this difficult work. I had the opportunity to thank Locals 1563, 1926, 1742, 2000, 5184, F-121, and F-281 not only for their work to keep our communities safe but for their steadfast help in reversing harmful DOGE cuts, expanding federal benefits for firefighters, and passing federal funding for their healthcare. Special thanks to President Kelly, Brian, Andy, and Jeff for their close collaboration over the years to ensure the health and safety of our firefighters.
