Today, members of IAFF L2702 brought donations to the @cityoffairfaxva “Stuff the Bus” food drive. The drive collected for the local nonprofit @foodforothers , who will distribute the goods to area residents in need.

Deliveries continue! Earlier this week, members of IAFF L2702 visited Daniel’s Run Elementary school to deliver N95 masks and Mac&Cheese to the hard working teachers in our community.

Today, members of IAFF L2702 made delivery of 150 masks and packages of Anna Bell’s Mac and Cheese to school teachers in the City of Fairfax. With the help of donations made through the website at macandmaskfx.com, L2702 raised over $2200 for the teachers in our community.

Today marks the end of an era for me. After serving on our #IAFF Locals executive board since 2007 I have declined nominations for re-election & the new VP was sworn in. This was not an easy decision for me but, rest assured I’m not out of the fight & hope to hold office again
