Interesting that @shaffaqmohd is calling for enforcement of speed limits in residential areas on #bbcpn yet, along with other @SheffLibDems, ignores emails from constituents calling for just that. Political opportunism at its worst.

@DavidWalsh_M I cycled down here with my son last week. There’s no safe way of covering that section without just using pavements. So I think you need to focus of making it safe for all users, rather than adding 20 seconds to a driver’s journey.

Reading this apology makes me think about an article I read on the quietest places on earth (americanscientist.org/article/quiete…). Fascinating, but none of these places are as quiet as my MP - @_OliviaBlake - since it became apparent how badly she misled #Sheffield residents.

Just finished reading Eject! Eject! by @JohnNicholRAF. One of the most fascinating books I’ve ever read. Well worth a read - I even bought my father a copy for Father’s Day!

@RTticking The writing was on the wall by that point. But neither of them publicly expressed concerns when their colleagues were lying in council sessions. I find this conduct to be utterly incompatible with her current role.

@IAM_JohnPW Very true she did , but at the end her and Lewis Dagnall changed their minds . As they did with it’s our city .

This is my MP. As deputy leader of Sheffield council she endorsed OAPs being arrested for opposing the pointless felling of mature trees (including memorial trees) and supported the council leader’s recommendation that an opposition councillor be imprisoned. Utterly shameful.

@SheffLibDems & @SheffieldGreens could remove the Leader next week👇 But will they? Most of Sheffield agrees with you @JayMitchinson - resignations absolute minimum. The ? is whether ANY of our local politicians take responsibility to ensure basic standards of conduct?

@ItsOurCity1 I’m disgusted by this - it’s rubbing salt in the wounds of what came before. I’m a proper swing voter but as long as this stands that swing will never be towards @uklabour, locally or nationally.
