It is BRILLIANT news that Pret have increased their wages for staff, as it is so needed, but it really highlights how underpaid our HCAs and band 5 staff are in the hospital. No wonder retention is poor #SupportTheStrikes

it costs me over £30 a month just to do my job. despite backlash from members and a cost of living crisis, HCPC are raising our registration fees anyway. SO disappointed!!! no wonder so many people are considering careers abroad

@LucyHolohan @IBelither works on a d/Deaf ward and she is familiar with the right terminology but I believe it is Deaf (uppercase D) if they are part of the Deaf community and see Deafness as part of their identity, and deaf (lowercase d) if they see deafness as a medical condition/impairment
