Seven Afghan refugees have been accused of being part of a grooming gang and charged with rape and child sex abuse offences. Norfolk police said that the men were charged as part of an investigation into group-based child sexual exploitation in Norwich. They appeared in court today, accused of sexual offences between August 2023 and May 2025 against two victims who were in their early-to-mid teens.

She replied with Ṛgveda 3.47.4.

May 24th, war on South Lebanon update:
Israeli airstrikes targeted multiple areas in South over night, including Mansouri, Kfartebnit, Arabsalim, Houmine El Faouqa, Habboush, Kfarroman, Toul, and Nabatieh–Ksar Zaatar neighborhood. Habboush (image) and Arabsalim were struck repeatedly.
A direct strike also hit the Regional Civil Defense Center in Nabatieh (image), causing the complete collapse of the building and severe damage to vehicles and equipment.
At least in total 10 strikes were reported, with artillery shelling continuing on Tyre outskirts and Litani villages.

For the record, I actually did think the Labour antisemitism stuff under Corbyn, though real, was definitely jumped up and a lot of people came across as very hysterical.

Sometimes, especially by Anglo standards, it comes across as downright unsoldierly. And I suspect directly contributes to some of the incidents of ill-discipline we’ve seen recently. Especially in the miluim.
Equally though, when you have a people’s army, you have to make sure that people actually want to be there and aren’t getting chewed out every 5 minutes by power-tripping petty officers for not polishing their boots correctly.
Surely a balance can be found. But I imagine fostering that kind of institutional culture sounds easier than it actually is.

Love zadokism but doesn’t hit right. More than anything else, Israeli military culture is just too informal & sloppy for these fashwave edits. You’ll end up reusing the same clips of a handful of parades in the 60s where they bothered to wear full dress uniform and march in tune.
