It’s been a great day of celebration of the International day of Women and Girls in Science. I interacted with teachers and girls from 14 Secondary Schools in South Western Uganda. It was an honor to host them at MUST.

Today we celebrate the immense contribution of women to the progress of our nation. Women are central to Uganda’s transformation—from nurturing families and communities to leading innovation, enterprise, science, and governance. As we build a knowledge-based economy, empowering women and girls with education, skills, and opportunity is not only a matter of justice—it is a strategic investment in national development. Let us continue working together to ensure that every woman and girl can fully realize her potential and contribute to building a prosperous Uganda.
