It was an honor to celebrate America’s 250th birthday this Fourth of July! From the Veterans Breakfast and parade to the incredible performances from our talented musical guests, it was a memorable and meaningful day at the Capitol.

We selected counties up for hand-count audit in the post-election audit random draw today at the Capitol with fellow Board of Canvassers member @IdahoController Woolf. The following counties were drawn: ✅Franklin ✅Canyon ✅Lemhi ✅Gooding ✅Owyhee ✅Butte ✅Power ✅Ada

We’ve been highlighting the 12 Principles of Idaho's Elections, &today marks the 12th & final principle. All election audits are conducted by hand counting paper ballots, creating a secure and auditable record voters can trust. The process begins with a random draw this Friday.
