I received a courtesy visit yesterday from the Ambassador of Ireland to Sierra Leone, Ambassador Patrick Joseph McManus. We used our meeting to discuss several issues of importance to our respective countries including human rights strengthening, constitutional reform, access to justice especially for marginalized communities, and justice sector reform. The Embassy of Ireland to Sierra Leone has been a dependable partner in our reform efforts. We used the meeting to strengthen our commitment to continue our work together.
