@JoshuaRobert56 does this make any sense to you? peterson was with hefner for basically his whole career.... and he was good for like 1 combined year of that. why would he do good with hefner again?

Case in point as to why this is not Carlos Mendoza's fault. Who, exactly, is he supposed to pitch in these spots? At some point, the players have to perform.

@GregBalloch A team scoring on their own net would end the game, Greg. Everything else would be negated. I don't have the rule number but it specifically states 'THAT ONLY ONE GOAL CAN BE SCORED ON ANY STOPPAGE' Game Over!

If Carolina scored on their own net during the delayed penalty, it would have led to my favourite yet-to-happen hockey moment: An OT goal that doesn’t immediately end the game. By the rulebook, Carolina would still get a chance to shoot even if they scored on their own net.

A reminder that the Mets tried hard to trade Kodai Senga, but the offers they got back for him were very weak. Teams were skeptical for all of the reasons we have seen early (and we are beginning to see his velocity drop from his first start).

@IF56730 Not asking yourself why is a major reason why you don’t get this. When you’re busting your ass as a sophomore, almost post a 30/30 year & get roadblocked, causing you to lose out on a massive amount of cash since you’re playing in a contract year, it’s a huge slap in the face.

Mercer is just 24, is a 20+ goal scorer, can play in any situation, is asked to play center when need be, never missed a game & has the same playoff production as Bratt… all that for 4M$ per year. Why so many NJD fans want this guy gone for a bag of pucks is insane. #NJDevils

@IF56730 Nemec is better than Luke. If Luke didn’t have the name Hughes on the back of his jersey, he would’ve played in Utica most of the year and Nemec would’ve had all the rope in the world after he single handily kept this team on life support after going on a 3 week run.

@MrWhite1079 and with dawson it isn't even about the points, its about him being a hard forechecker, hard nose type of guy and that has been completely gone from his game since 22/23. he'd be a great lower lineup player if he did some of that but he doesn't anymore and its hurting our depth
