This is a great photo from the ESB archives of parts being transported to Ardnacrusha.It shows the building that stood at the gable of the Bishop's Palace. Also Rathborne's grocery shop.

My visual shows some of the houses demolished in St Mary’s Park, Limerick City, one of the city’s oldest estates (built in the 1930s), which once had 463 houses. Of interest, more than 1,200 homes have been demolished across Limerick’s four regeneration areas, Moyross, Southill, St Mary’s Park, and Ballinacurra Weston, as part of the €400 million Limerick Regeneration project, one of the largest regeneration programmes in the State. Launched around 2007–2008 by the Irish Government, most demolitions involved vacant or derelict homes and took place between 2008 and 2012.
