Dear @RavenSoftware, We're on the right path with Warzone, but there's still a lot of work to do. Here's what we want to see changed next: 📈 Improve Server Quality Even after the recent "server improvements," there's still hit registration issues. Not to mention, it was demoralizing to see y'all silently patch "erroneous blood effects" (client side) instead of actually fixing the server issues - which was proved to be the problem. We realize this isn't a small ask. However, this is likely the cause of trouble most players deal with in the game on a daily basis, and also leads to a ton of problems when actually putting out updates. 🛑 Remove Shadow Bans Limited matchmaking is pointless. If the goal is to keep cheaters from playing, it doesn't do that, and tends to only punish innocent players. I'm not sure if this is still in place simply to make people believe they're actually removing cheaters, but we know now that isn't the case, and has been proven on repeat. Players are being put in this state and then released after an extended time whether they're cheating or not. Killcams and spectating are in the worst state they've ever been in, even though we know they can be fixed - look at WZ1. I understand this isn't a priority, but it should be. This is making people believe folks are cheating because they trust the system. Most people don't know it's not accurate in the slightest. This leads to constant false reports, and THAT, for some reason, is the way "shadow bans" are dealt. It's a gross system built on negligence, and should be removed entirely. Cheaters are just switching accounts and spoofing their HWIDs, while regular players are stuck in limbo on repeat. 🎧 Audio Complaints about audio have officially reached a fever pitch. This is by far the worst audio experience we've had in 5 years, and to see a $20 upsell for "better audio" in the game is insulting. It quite literally sounds like you're in a tunnel all the time, and it's nearly impossible to understand the direction footsteps and gunshots are coming from. I have no idea who decided this audio was what should be shipped, but it makes players feel they're insane. I'm also not sure how we keep going backwards with audio, but I've never read so many complaints about this - and that's saying something. 🪂 Perks Some perks seem to still be having issues. Quick Fix isn't always doing what it's supposed to be doing. High alert is basically pointless, seeing as it doesn't actually show you the direction of the person looking at you. Dexterity needs a MASSIVE buff. There's no reason to use this perk when you only get 3 additional meters of reduced damage for falling. 🔧 Weird Mechanics • Why does your parachute always deploy when you jump off a ladder? • Why do you sometimes try to crouch and you'll slide, or slide and you'll crouch? • Why have key binds for KBM been completely scuffed when it comes to changing weapons? • Why do you sometimes pull out your melee weapon quickly, and other times it's incredibly slow? There's more, but these are just my top 4 that I'm dealing with consistently. People will likely leave more in the responses. 🎮 Revert Sensitivity Change Most people don't get a lot of time to play Call of Duty. That means people don't often "fine tune" their sensitivity, but when they did, they already had some really good ways of doing that. This update was not only incorrect on the values players were given by default for their previous sensitivities, but makes it more difficult for the average player to understand their sensitivity. We've had the past system for years with no issues. I realize this is likely not going to happen, but WOW, what a weird thing to do. 💰 Add Back Static Buy Stations in Solos Solos seems to be the only mode with rotating and randomized buy stations. There are often times where you have to move 800 to 1000+ meters to reach one. Not to mention, this leaves a ton of end game circles (circle 4+) with no buy stations - around 5 minutes depending on the area. This is a simple change that's already been implemented into all the other modes. Don't forget about the solos players, please. 🔫 Weapon Leveling Speed This may be one of the community's top issues, and we're very aware it comes to corporate greed. Every single year, we see it's becoming more focused on retention and less about fun. Players shouldn't have to spend 100+ hours to be able to get the attachments on all their weapons. I'm not sure if y'all realize how crazy that number is or if no one did the math, but that's almost 3 full work weeks. This is obviously leaving people with 2 options: • Spend the time to level and compete • Spend money on blueprints with better attachments Retention hacking your player base is gross. It's fine to give people a (fun) reason to grind - camos, achievements, etc. However, it's wrong to force them to grind endlessly or pay for something that will otherwise put you at a massive disadvantage. Also, WHY ARE WE RELEASING BUNDLES FOR WEAPONS BEFORE THEY'RE UNLOCKABLE??? Stop that! It makes the event pointless, and leaves no excitement for something that already isn't that exciting for anyone. 🚧 Misc. Information Frankly, I think Warzone really is on the right track. Due to the speed of these updates, we're in what seems to be a better state than what WZ3 had (to each their own). Sucks that a ton of players ended up leaving due to bugs and a poor integration, but we can't help that now. Yes, there's lots that needs change before Verdansk, but I'm smelling the comeback of the decade if y'all continue at this pace. I appreciate you listening to the community. To all the developers working your ass off to make the game better than ever, thank you. I hope this came across as helpful and not whiney.
