💧 World Water Day | Sustaining Every Drop, Securing Every Future Water is not just a resource—it is the foundation of life, health, and sustainable development. On this World Water Day, IIT Bhubaneswar reaffirms its commitment to advancing safe and equitable water access through cutting-edge research, innovation, and community engagement. From developing sustainable water purification technologies to addressing critical challenges such as saltwater intrusion in coastal aquifers, and natural as well as anthropogenic groundwater pollution, researchers at the Institute are actively working on solutions rooted in science and real-world applicability. The Bharat Innovates Deep-Tech Pre-Summit, a national showcase of India’s emerging deep-technology startups, was inaugurated today at ASPIRE - IIT Bombay Research Park Foundation in the IIT Bombay campus by Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India and Chairperson of the Prime Minister’s Science, Technology & Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC), in the presence of senior deligates from the Government of India.
