Recent B.C. Supreme Court rulings have created uncertainty across BC, and people deserve clarity from the elected officials responsible for our laws at the Legislature, not from a court room. The Premier says he will not recall the House. We can provide more certainty sooner, by working together in the Legislature, where every voice can be heard and we can address how the latest ruling affects communities, lenders, industry, and Indigenous governments. Reconciliation does not belong or rest with one political party, or another. We are all champions of it, even if we see different pathways to get there, that is a reflection of the continued conversations and alignment that needs to happen. Conservatives are ready to work.

Our ironworkers, millwrights, and local trades delivered quality work while being forced to use steel sourced from overseas instead of supporting B.C. industry. British Columbians need infrastructure that meets future demand and respects every taxpayer dollar. This government delivered none of it. We had a chance to build a bridge that matched the region’s growth and ambition. The NDP watered it down, mismanaged it, and turned a generational opportunity into another costly disappointment. @JarrydJaeger BC was majority First Nations until 1860 ish when colonies began. This was the last place on earth to be “colonized” as they say. But before province became a province fur traders and small settlements in BC lived along side First Nations and respected their lands.
