@RogerWPrice @internet_paolo Thanks for sharing that. As you can see, most of those roads on the map are of the 2nd kind: Local Street Bikeway. That's cars and bikes sharing the same road. I'm not sure why that's even a category. That's just a road.

@RogerWPrice @internet_paolo Appearing "green" on Google Maps doesn't mean anything. On most of those roads bikes and cars share the entire road.

Across an area larger than Vancouver Island, Gitxsan hereditary chiefs are warning British Columbians with valid fishing licences away from public waterways, saying access “will be defended.” @Randene4PRSC’s Ministry says public authority remains intact. But its enforcement plan seems to be: good luck out there, and hope you have cell service if you need police. www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/spo…

Since I haven’t made a video yet and voting has started… My two favourite candidates are Kerry-Lynne Findlay and Yuri Fulmer! I have encouraged my friends and family to have them at the top of their ballots and decide for themselves how or if they want to fill out the rest. I’ll share more later 🤍🙏🏼

I have found that most of the people who don't want AI. 1. Have no idea what they're talking about. 2. Don't understand the technology or the industry. 3. Think we would be better if we lived in the Dark Ages. They can never articulate on the why without exposing how clueless they are. 😂

@Animal_1138 @RogerWPrice @AaronPettman AI data centers are not some uniquely apocalyptic category of pollution compared to: mining heavy manufacturing industrial agriculture chemical plants oil & gas large-scale suburban development Their main environmental issues are mostly: Massive electricity and cooling demand

So what would "success" mean in a future where money doesn't matter? You might prefer fame or power (I wouldn't). Or would you be happy to play a gig at the local coffee shop/bar, surrounded by your friends? Of course, some will "Make It," but you could still pursue your passion without worrying about how much it pays.

@RogerWPrice @JeremyFoot1977 @AaronPettman Yeah and I was thinking about how it’s a hard industry to survive in right now but at least when your music doesn’t succeed, you’re failing due to other artists putting in their heart and soul (and Taylor Swift) as opposed to AI softwares that can generate music almost instantly

With your music example, I almost feel that's the way it is now. 😂. If you want to be famous, that has always been a challenge that very few succeed in. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Currently, it's obvious what is AI-generated and what is human. It will get better, though.

AI would not stop people from pursuing their chosen field. Nothing would stop someone from trying to become a YouTuber or IG model, for example. I think we will actually have a golden era for the arts as well. Think of that warehouse worker who decided to stop pursuing music because they needed a paycheck as an example. If we can get to a point where money doesn't truly matter anymore, we could do great things.
