BREAKING: It appears that someone has secretly photographed the E-3G Sentry AWACS of the U.S. Air Force that was targeted and destroyed by the IRGC Aerospace Force at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia on March 27, 2026. The aircraft is 81-0005.
I previously photographed this same aircraft during its deployment, and you can compare my images—taken when it was fully operational—with the photos now circulating widely on social media that claim to show the burning wreckage of this aircraft.
After carefully examining the image, I assess that it is not AI-generated; the details are highly accurate and consistent, indicating that it is likely genuine.
