📢 HB 1116 – Virtual Currency Kiosks is on its way to the Governor's desk!! AARP Indiana is excited that older Hoosiers will now have protection from the fraud that is often linked to these machines.

😨The House just lowered the amount a family can save while on SNAP. They also declined to let someone with cancer be exempt from work requirements & to require 3 months of work compliance BEFORE a person can be eligible for Medicaid. SB 1 is cruel. Urge lawmakers to vote no.

👍 🎉 SB 197, which offers additional protection to Hoosiers who fall behind on their bills and have a debt collector pursue wage or bank account garnishment, just passed on the Senate floor. Please thank those members who voted in support!

Wow. New data available through @IUibrc's STATS INDIANA shows that Indiana's adjusted household income (ACS) is now #42 in the U.S., down from #38 just a year ago, while our median household income (CPS) is #40 in the U.S., down from #29(!!!!) in 2000.
