@INoScared

My views are my own. Unapologetic. Not big on followers as I'm not trying to start a cult. if you use Grok to argue with me, I will block you.

@CTVNews Gaslighting assholes. There was never a need and everyone knew it. A shitty program introduced by Harper and jacked up by Trudeau. It's poorly designed and easily exploited by unscrupulous people. The dregs of Indian society now roam free in Canada.

@GrandpaKen05 People like Finch are a bunch of assholes. As if any Canadian would want to work for these franchises now that they know how little people are valued by the ownership. Tim's deserves to disappear, yesterday.

I'm not anti immigrant, but here's the thing. Youth unemployment is unacceptably high. I disagree that some young people wouldn't take these jobs to learn valuable work skills, and get something for their resume to get better jobs. Give them a chance before we judge them.
John Finch 🇨🇦@jfinch

Now all those Canadians complaining that immigrants took all the Tim Horton jobs, can get that minimum wage job they were covetting, serving coffee and donuts. Finally. 🙄 cbc.ca/news/business/…

Feds @ESDC_GC say Canada Summer Jobs program helps students hired through 50% wage subsidies but cannot say how many jobs it creates. Program in past years has paid more than $285 million in wage subsidies. blacklocks.ca/no-jobs-count-… #cdnpoli

It's pretty funny to watch how misinformation/propaganda/bandwagon stuff moves through the RW Twitter ecosystem. Dunkin Donuts hires immigrants in the United States. They haven't said anything about their hiring plan in Canada. In some weird way, those that hate Canada think attacking Tim Horton's is an own against immigrants and the government. So very odd.
Jayde@Jayde8700

Dunkin’ Doughnuts is going to put Tim Horton out of business and I’m all for it.

@krbcan @thescottbarber In a way, yes. You put up their leadership as the gate keeper, but we know from our past experiences and from their community members themselves, that their leadership, more often than not, doesn't listen to them and doesn't make decisions that represent their views and desires.

@INoScared @thescottbarber All indigenous people can vote in the referendum. But there isn't any internal vote within the indigenous groups as to how they want the indigenous leaders to proceed on separatism. I think you're agreeing with me on this, but it's hard to tell.

What Alberta Separatism would actually look like even if it was possible constitutionally (which it isn’t): 1. Oil sands would almost entirely remain in Canada along with all Treaty 8 territory. I would love for someone to explain how any other result is even possible (it isn’t). 2. Upwards of 20 percent of the population would leave immediately, most of these being educated professionals from urban/suburban areas. 3. The remaining “Albertans” would be left to scratch together a military, a pension system, a diplomatic settlement ice and international agreements, and thousands other things the federal government already does and pays for. 4. Chaos, cronyism, and fighting over the scraps. Everyone who can leave will leave. 5. Then would come the clambering to return to the edenic garden of Canada and people pretending to have never supported separation in the first place.

@krbcan @thescottbarber Really? You put them up as the voice for all tribe members. But they're not. And anyone who knows how this works knows that they're not elected. But in an election, everyone gets a vote. And every vote counts in this case. Elders are corrupt as hell. Even the natives agree

@INoScared @thescottbarber What the indigenous leaders "do" is totally irrelevant to the matter we are discussing. And the first nations people voting in the referendum is not the same as first nations leaders having the constitutional authority to decide to separate or not.

@BackstageInfamy @thescottbarber Lols. Wrong town. You sound like a cult member. Simply unable or unwilling to see or accept that there are legitimate arguments on both sides. Dismissive attitudes are the hallmark of low IQ individuals.

@BackstageInfamy @thescottbarber Your sad insults mean nothing. It would be worth something if you are least made up the term. But you didn't. You borrowed it and use it like it's your last name. Weak sauce. Come to the table with something other than stale insults.

@INoScared @thescottbarber It's a subjective observation on my part, based upon your commentary and ball washing of Alberta separatism. You don't decide how others view you. You might not intend to come across as a ditchbilly separatist, but I assure you, you absolutely do present that way.

@BackstageInfamy @thescottbarber Alberta provides the highest federal government revenue per capita of any province and receives the least in government spending after you calculate the ROI. Meaning they're a cash cow for Ottawa. I can't explain it to you any simpler unless I use crayons.

@INoScared @thescottbarber Does your house have doors and vinyl windows? Do you have a BBQ? Or a hot tub? What does Alberta actually MANUFACTURE? Its a reciprocal relationship, federalism. Alberta is tied with BC for 3rd in GDP.

@trevortombe Let these people have their referendum so everyone can have their say. Then it's over and done with. If it comes up again, you'll have every right to flip them the bird.

(1/2) Part 2 of Bill C-22 does not create new authorities, such as surveillance powers, for law enforcement and CSIS. It ensures that electronic service providers are able to respond to lawful access requests from law enforcement and CSIS.

@krbcan @thescottbarber The same indigenous leaders that piss away billions and siphon them off for Cadillacs and luxury homes, while the others live in squalor? At any rate, they get a vote as well. They can go and vote no. That's how our political system works.

@INoScared @thescottbarber The indigenous leaders have been very clear that they do NOT want to separate so I don't they want to negotiate anything Any negotiations that would happen before separation is official meaning AB would still be subject to CDN laws. The sep. process would likely take 5-10 yrs.
