Remember when I got told I was wrong about the R2 Premium Audio because the R2 windows were open? 💀
I'll say it this way. When you get into a Tesla Model 3, Model Y, or Cybertruck and put music on with the windows open and/or closed, it sounds amazing every time. You know right away that the Tesla vehicles have a good sound system. That is not what the R2 Block Party MVBs are today. I'm sort of surprised they didn't load them with the production setup TBH.
Obviously my opinion is based on my short personal hands-on experience and highly subjective. I look forward to others sitting in the R2 cockpit and giving their reviews on the audio as well.

Today is a great day for @elonmusk to refund HW3 owners.
English

@isuggest_app @ZacksJerryRig @elonmusk Classic "It's very hard. It's not their fault they promised something they can't achieve."
English

Again, no one had any idea how tough this would be and you can't fault T or E for not throwing enough resources at it. Patience. the 14.3 update shows, again, how good they are at squeezing blood out of a turnip. I suspect (but, again, who knows) that between hw3 optimizations, FSD transfer options (which they WILL do again) or hw replacement, HW3 owners will be happy. Tesla knows this has to happen, too big of a liability if it doesn't.

@DirtyTesLa Autopilot is a necessity for interstate driving in a one pedal drive EVs. I only enable it to relax/stretch occasionally, I don't need FSD for that. Especially for >$100/month.
Tesla is known for technology and once you start removing that technology, you'll have an average EV.

Tesla... why do crappy things to customers 🤦♂️

NEWS: Tesla has officially discontinued Autopilot in the U.S. and Canada. All new car purchases now come standard with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control. The online configurator has now been updated to allow buyers to choose the $99/month FSD subscription, while still offering the option to purchase FSD outright for $8,000 until February 14th. New Tesla vehicles purchases still come with a 30-day free trial of FSD (Supervised).

@DirtyTesLa Definitely better for my knees and wallet at the cost of time.

@chuckcook @Tesla_AI Next step: fixing acceleration/deceleration curves and improving reversing success rate?
English

@aelluswamy @Tesla_AI That approach speed and deceleration is way too aggressive. It needs to show intent way earlier or else you increase the chance of getting rear ended.
English

@Tesla_AI Note that this test had the ego vehicle at 73 mph!

@SawyerMerritt - FSD Reverse and banish
- FSD visuals for basic autopilot
- Auto lane change for basic Autopilot to be more competitive
- full screen navigation option
- sentry clips in tesla app

A thread of HW3 2023 v12.5.4.2 issues for those who are interested
@chuckcook @DirtyTesLa @aelluswamy @Tesla_AI
1/4 - Late lane change crossing over median
English

@DirtyTesLa A couple videos of v12.5.4.2 issues (failing to recognize speed limits and lane drifting mid turn).
Other issues:
- failing to route to certain parking lots
- random braking
- fluttering acceleration - like tapping the accelerator repeatedly (very common but hardly noticable)
Columbus, IN 🇺🇸 English

@DirtyTesLa HW3 12.5.4.1 user. It's significantly better than 12.3.6 but has its flaws.
- Very aggressive acceleration
- Late lane changes to maintain route but aggressive lane changes to pass slow drivers
- Hard/Late braking (rare)
12.5.6 fixed most of this. Based on your videos.
