@CJOsburn Those holes are that deep because there will be concrete fiber-optic vaults placed in them. They are designed to blend in, and while initial construction can be a jolt, our goal is minimal impact. If anything goes wrong, please DM us and we will immediately get on it.

@IqFiber They haven’t gotten to my house yet but they marked off 3 spots in my yard including one right in the middle of my front yard. They are currently digging 3-4 foot holes through all of my neighborhood.

@lcurole We did have a partial upstream failure, but redundancies kicked in and traffic was rerouted. Some experienced minor degradation for a few minutes. Our network team's preparations for all scenarios ensured that our customers hardly noticed. We got your back!

@IqFiber You weren't routing to the internet from 11:22AM to 11:26AM. Traffic to 38.85.128.1 worked fine but publicly routable traffic was being dropped. Service is normal now. You guys are rock solid, first time I've ever had an issue. Thanks for all your hard work.

@William_D_Lee Yes. We bury the cable before the install so that it's not sitting out for weeks or months. We then run it through the attic (if there is an attic) and fish it down. Really easy for most houses -- and we make it as clean a look as possible.
