@SomeBitchIIKnow HR is such an easy target, it’s funny watching all these posts bashing the hell out of them. They’re loved as much as the IRS.

@JTLonsdale People Ops, I like that better than HR. Somebody has to hire, fire, pay, recruit, benefits, prevent and defend lawsuits.

The Department of Labor is officially scrapping its Biden-era overtime expansion after courts ruled the policy exceeded federal authority. CEI’s Sean Higgins (@SeanGHiggins) says the move gives workers and employers more flexibility to negotiate schedules and compensation arrangements. cei.org/blog/dol-gets-…

Self deportations will jump because of these changes.
@amsalazar@Amsalazar

I don’t think this covers it. Graduates of elite colleges do well also because we have a stagnate/fossilized corporate world where you have HR gate keepers who went to ‘good schools’ who don’t pass resumes on if they don’t see a ‘good school.’
Peyman Milanfar@docmilanfar

graduates of the most elite colleges have superior career outcomes not primarily because of the education they receive, but because of the people they meet and the connections they make

@LiquorAntics I’m 65 and will work W-2 jobs until I’m *70 full-time. Retirement is overrated. From 70 to 100 I’ll live it up big time, and spend my $IREN $ASST $CIFR and $BKKT investment profits. *Note to self, stay healthy, if your portfolio skyrockets this plan is subject to dramatic change

Retire at 62, you probably have 18 years to spend your portfolio. You might live to 100, but you aren't going a lot of places past 80. You have 18 years to blow through your 401k, Roth or investment portfolio. Social security after that. 8%. DEBATE!
