"Exonerations" are sought by NGOs like The Innocence Project, which target cases old enough where everyone involved in the prosecution has died or retired. Stacey Abram's brother-in-law was "exonerated" for that exact reason. He was later arrested for trafficking a minor.

in middle school i ran out of books to read cause my AR placement was maxed out at 13 and the school only had a hundred to two hundred books within the range i was allowed to read and take AR test on lol. The librarian thought i was lying when i would check a book out in the morning and bring it back towards the end of the day.

I'm always torn about the timed release of factual, horrible information. Delaying justice for political gain is underhanded... and very effective. It slays the offender at the height of their climb, which means a harder fall... and yet, I feel crimes should be reported when they happen, for the safety of everyone.

One reason it hurts so much to get back into shape after long periods of inactivity is that the human body was probably never designed for complete deconditioning. A basic level of fitness was somethign you carried throughout your entire life. Moving was the normal. You are restarting systems that were never supposed to be shut down.
