Nathan Cofnas wrote a fun chud paper on how numerous eminent scientists and public intellectuals have been quoted saying they won't look into "race and IQ"-related questions for ideological reasons.
Chomsky, for instance, seems to admit IQ group differences exist, but dismisses them as having absolutely no value except to very bad people.
Howard Gardner is on record saying he does not care whether he is scientifically correct as long as his theories promote his moral values.
Cofnas also finds Stephen Jay Gould to have intentionally misrepresented findings that disagreed with his politics.
Speaking on all of this, James Flynn (of Flynn effect fame) comments that researchers do not work on race and IQ for fear of what they think is a horrible truth.

We should oppose the Trump administration's abuse of the law to intimidate and cripple private advocacy organizations they don't like. But what they say about the Southern Poverty Law Center (which I used to donate to) is, unfortunately, correct: It “long ago abandoned civil rights work and turned into a partisan smear machine.” Among the targets in its McCarthyite "Hate Watch" list are ordinary academic behavioral geneticists whose research challenges the blank slate. nytimes.com/2026/04/22/us/…

Suite aux recherches de David Reich, j’aimerais partager cette vidéo de l’émission 60 Minutes.
Lors de la comparaison des gènes du chien et du loup (qui sont à 99,9 % identiques), les chercheurs ont découvert des mutations présentes seulement chez les chiens, surnommées « gènes de sociabilité ». Il faut rappeler que la séparation entre les chiens et les loups remonte à environ 15 000 à 40 000 ans.
Suite à cette découverte, on a remarqué que la région génétique concernée chez le chien correspond aux mêmes gènes qui, lorsqu’ils sont supprimés (délétés) chez l’humain, provoquent le syndrome de Williams. Pour ceux qui ont déjà rencontré des gens affectés par ce syndrome, vous savez que ce sont possiblement les personnes les plus gentilles et sociables de la planète : elles n’ont pratiquement aucune malice et font confiance à n’importe qui.
À l’extrême, comme dans le cas du syndrome de Williams, les gènes exercent une énorme pression sur le comportement de la personne. Bien sûr, ces individus ont leur propre personnalité, mais ils subissent une forte pression génétique qui leur impose ce trait de caractère.
Maintenant, l’être humain a quitté l’Afrique il y a environ 50 000 à 70 000 ans. Pour faire le lien avec les résultats de Reich, cela confirme que l’évolution humaine ne s’est pas arrêtée, mais qu’elle a plutôt accéléré durant les 10 000 dernières années.
Appliqué à la population « normale », les gènes communs d’un groupe, ou la fréquence de ces gènes, ne se retrouvent pas systématiquement chez tous les membres, mais sont présents dans une grande partie de celui-ci. Ces variants génétiques contribuent à façonner une culture qui, en retour, exerce une pression de sélection renforçant ces mêmes gènes au fil des générations.
La réalité est qu’il existe une influence génétique qu’il est pratiquement impossible d’ignorer. La culture influence cette dynamique de manière souvent inconsciente : elle peut désavantager l’expression de certains variants génétiques en pénalisant socialement ou en réduisant le succès reproductif des comportements qui leur sont associés. À l’inverse, elle peut favoriser d’autres variants en offrant à ceux qui les portent un meilleur accès à la reproduction et à la survie.
Le déni en 2026 entourant la génétique et ses réalités n’est plus envisageable. Plus vite les gens accepteront ces faits, plus vite nous pourrons régler les problèmes qui y sont liés.

What does not get talked about enough is the availability heuristic (or availability bias) of Western history and written records. One of the fundamental reasons why the West is blamed for the past....is because it was the civilization that recorded and wrote down historical records best....including it's own shameful moments. Non-Western cultures never did this to the same extent and depth as the West...that is why there is a selective recall or memory bias that remembers all the horrible things the West has done....but has completely forgotten or was never even aware of the atrocities and injustices committed by non-Western societies and cultures. All the the terrible things that non-Western societies got up too have been lost to time. Western, European cultures always tracked and recorded everything, and now the Left is weaponizing it.

I tend to agree with you on much @elonmusk...but explain to me how it is ethical or moral to coerce another individual into an existence without their consent into a gigantic penal colony, a forced labor camp we call humanity....where suffering, pain, and unfulfilled wants is the norm, where we are treated as simply expendable numbers by corporations and governments. Give me some good reasons, not appealing to emotions, why I should coerce another human being into this?
