A number of locations in Uintas showing over an inch of water, likely meaning a foot or more of snow. Alta-Collins showing 6” of snow from about 0.5” of water. PC saw several inches as well.

The nice thing about this is that it works both ways. There are areas in Utah (Heber Valley) in which models chronically overforecast. This should help.

@NWSSaltLakeCity Your winter storm warning is incorrect. It says Thursday morning through Thursday evening. 10-20” with 2-3feet in LCC. I think you meant to write through Friday evening.

An incoming storm system will bring strong southwest winds to much of Utah Wednesday and Thursday. The strongest winds will be west of the I-15 corridor. Strong southwest winds will continue into Thursday. These winds will likely result in areas of blowing dust. #utwx

@ClarkKenwxman I hear you, thanks for the response. I live at 8,600 feet in the mountains of Utah. I feel like the kuchera is just so over done. Works best at 9,500 and above but does horribly in the valleys

@ISkiDeepPow A few reasons. 1)Where much of the snow falls, Canada, Rockies, wherever in the Upper Midwest will not fall at 10-1. 2) My 10-1 maps were not adding up right once past 120 so I wouldn’t use this anyway. 3) it doesnt matter as it’s the areas that mattered in this post, not amnts.

Moments ago in the Colorado courtroom where they are trying to decide whether Donald Trump can be disqualified from the state’s 2024 Presidential ballot, we just witnessed this terrifying footage from January 6, and then heard testimony from the officer who was assaulted here. Anyone who still thinks that January 6th was just a “peaceful protest” is either being intentionally disingenuous, or they hadn’t seen the terrifying footage as of yet. Be honest with yourselves! January 6th was NOT OK! It was horrifying, unAmerican and seditious in many ways.
