@cqcqcqdx Back in the early 90's there was a very popular story about how Bill Gates locked himself in a room for a few days & created MS DOS for the IBM PC because he was a master programmer. Everyone believed it but I guess it was a lie spread by him just like everything else in his life

@MarkFGrogan Had an STm upgraded to 2.5mb and 45mb hard drive, then an STe with 4mb and the same HD, then a Mega STe with 4mb and 120mb HD and finally a Falcon. The Mega STe was my favourite by far.

what was the first code editor you ever used ?

@iyoushetwt I find it much easier learning from a book plus less hallucinated “information” than you get from AI sources. Has to be paper with post it noted, kindle etc no good.

I noticed one employee wearing noise-canceling headphones. Not earbuds. The big, cushioned over-ear kind that create a tiny personal universe. I asked if everything was alright. He said yes, he’s just trying to focus. I told him we value focus, but isolation can misread as resistance to collaboration. He said he’s literally sitting at his desk doing his job. I told him we track human presence, not just output. He asked how presence is measured. I said imperfectly, which is why it's so important. Then I logged “avoiding spontaneous culture building opportunities” in his engagement profile.
