But I feel like in narrative writing it would depend on how significant the specific car is to the plot as to the depth in which it should be described.

@I_Are_Bogan It is a boxy old sedan but I'm thinking about updating it to make it the Avalanche. It has the same impact the 300C/magnum did in the island imo. Just sych a quirky front end it makes it feel really out of place.

I never really had many drawings of the Guardians, but I really liked the scene at the end of the opening where Jade and Tate flee and are getting chased. Not exactly the same but hey, I got to put a little bit of Australia into this, chucking in the Avalanche. But who doesn’t like Deagons? I'll do some more later.

I kinda pictured a boxy old sedan while reading those first few chapters - simple electronics that wouldn't be affected and such.
But keen to see how everything is detailed out as the book goes on.

@ShadeFireborn You can always tell the difference between someone who gives a damn and someone who doesn't at the checkout by how groceries are bagged.
Sometimes I'll pass items through in a logical order for bagging and they still just stuff things in the bag with little care...

As a former cart pusher and grocery bagger, exactly this. Structural integrity. Heavy items go on the bottom, light items that can be easily mangled, go on top. Like items go together. Form walls with boxed items depending on what items are being purchased. Make customers happy.

@ImprecatoryOne Traditional Anglicanism does a good job of celebrating Easter. Unfortunately not many modern Anglican churches follow those traditional patterns.

It kind of makes me upset that we don’t celebrate Easter as Protestants. One day. Then we forget.
“Christ is Risen” should ring from our lips for weeeks after Easter Sunday. It should be a nonstop party with feasts.

This literally ain’t even a new development. They’ve been doing this for years now.
I haven’t been to a McDonald’s with a self serve soda fountain in years. They are very rare to come by anymore.
